Getting Rid of Confirm Delete In Windows XP. By default, every time we want to delete a file / folder, Windows XP will always display a confirmation box (dialog box), which essentially asks whether we are sure will delete the file / folder. First, right-click the Recycle Bin on the desktop and choose Properties dialog box will appear so that the "Recycle Bin Properties", as shown below.
